Games I Play
Throughout the many years I have been alive, I have played a large quantity of fun and exciting games. Below is a list of games I have played, a little bit about the game as well as what I think about it.
Battlefield 2

About:
Battlefield 2 is a wonderful game developed by EA and Dice and released in June of 2005. The game features the ability to play as the United States Marine Corps, People's Liberation Army, or the Middle Eastern Coalition. All of which you can play in the online multiplayer where you will be able to fight up against 64 enemy's.
My Thoughts:
I played Battlefield 2 for over 6 years. In those years I went from playing Singleplayer to Multiplayer, learning about the online gaming world and developing friendships that even now are still in tact. Battlefield 2 is a wonderful game to play, with its huge mod ability opening doors for a large amount of additional players. I believe Battlefield 2 was one of the best games you could buy for its time.
Battlefield 2: Sandbox Mod

About:
The Sandbox Mod... An absolutely fabulous Battlefield 2 Modification developed by the Sir. Community that completely changed the way hundreds of players looked at Battlefield 2. Sandbox is a modification that allows players to spawn almost every object you can see in the actual game Battlefield 2. From bridges to the fence around a structure. This gave the players the ability to use the creativity of there mind to build structures that hundreds of other players will be able to see and interact with.
My Thoughts:
Sandbox was the first game I created a server for. Previously my friends and I would join other clan servers and play. Because Sandbox included the server files in the download of Sandbox I was able to create and launch my own server that at one point was stated by Elxx (Main Developer) as having the most players on a single server at any given time.
Battlefield 2142

About:
Battlefield 2142 was another great game developed by EA and Dice released in October of 2006. This game ran on a modified version of the Battlefield 2 engine. This made the game play very similar to Battlefield 2 but in a futuristic design.
My Thoughts:
Battlefield 2142 was a fun game to play no doubt. From pushing to get on the enemies Titan to being able to use futuristic weapons Battlefield 2142 was definitely not a failure. However because the engine they used was simply a modified version of the one used in Battlefield 2 there was not a whole lot of newness to the game other than the maps and weapons. It was fun and I would play it again, but I was truly hoping for better quality.
Urban Terror

About:
Urban Terror another great game developed by Silicon Ice & Frozen Sand. It includes many great features such the price, Free, the ability to modify the game and host your own servers. Since the beginning for Urban Terror (August 2000) it has ran off Quake 3 as a mod up until 2007 where it was released as a standalone game running off the engine ioquake3.
My Thoughts:
Urban Terror was introduced to me by an online friend who happen to come across it. The game is definitely a fun game to play, it provides many maps that are automatically downloaded if you don't already have it when joining a server making it easy to play on most custom maps. Although the game is fun to play, it does not have high quality graphics so it resembles Counter Strike in most functions but it currently looks like they are working on an HD version of the game which I will definitely play when it comes out.
Garry's Mod

About:
Garry's Mod, a wonderful game developed by Facepunch Studios and released in December of 2004. This game takes control of all aspects of the Source engine in which it is developed on. This game allows you to spawn 3D objects, once spawned you can move and rotate the object allowing you to build structures for example a house.
My Thoughts:
Garry's Mod is a great game if you like the way objects can have physical affects on others, such as the weight of an object pulling another object down. It allows a player to spawn hundreds if not thousands of different types of objects that allows them to create whatever they like... Want to build a spaceship? Great! Want to build a hovercraft? Great! Those are just a couple of things I have build on Garry's Mod which is what makes the game fun!

About:
Battlefield Bad Company 2, another great game in my collection created by EA and Dice. It was first released in March of 2010. This new and amazing game included the ever so anticipated Frostbite 1.5 engine that allowed for many building to be fully destructable completely changing the gameplay. Now with the dynamic structures you couuld start with a map where you cannot see across the city to one where you can.
My Thoughts:
I had pre-ordered BFBC2 allowing me to gain access to the game the minute it became available. At first I did not enjoy the game due to the huge difference from Battlefield 2 system requirements to BFBC2, so basically my computer couldn't handle it. After a little bit of money saving I was able to get a new processor and instantly began playing the game again. I fell in love with it even though it did not have as many vehicles as its predecesor it was quite amazing.
Live for Speed

About:
Live for Speed was originally released in July of 2003 and is developed by a few amazing people, Scawen Roberts, Eric Bailey and Victor van Vlaardingen. Live for Speed is a racing simulator taking into account physics, wind speeds as well as many others. In LFS you can choose from a large array of vehicles from gocarts to F1 race cars. The game has a very large community which has contributed to many modifications for the game to allow for any kind of fun you would want.
My Thoughts:
A friend online introduced me to this game, at the time I had no money so I was only able to play the demo, but after a while of saving I was able to purchase the full fledged game! Many online friends and I would jump into servers where we would race, cruise, pretend to be cops and chase each other and many other fun activities. One member decided to start a racing team where I would host the server and we could make our own custom courses. The fun we had and still have was epic!
Rigs of Rods

About:
Rigs of Rods is an absolutely fantastic vehicle physics simulator originally created by Pierre-Michel ricordel. Currently on release 0.38, it includes land, air, and water vehicles. The community of over 5000 people have contributed to thousands of customized vehicles, maps and accessories. The unique quality about Rigs of Rods is its soft body physics allowing for nodes to break or bend under certain pressue. This creates an unmatched realistic body effects to the vehicles. This includes collisions where no two are exactly the same and other environmental effects change the how good of traction the vehicle has.
My Thoughts:
This game has been one of my favorite games due to the amount of complexity in every vehicle. Going over a simple bump or climbing over a rock you are able to see all of the detail in the way the shocks absorb the inpact. As well as the way the body changes due to a collision with a wall. If you hit something hard enough, parts will actually fall of the vehicle such as a mirror or bumper, while other parts will just get dented or twisted. If you love physics, this would be a great game for you!
